Will Read and Sing for Food Jan. 28 show, featuring Kelly Craig Schaefer

kelly3Kelly Craig Schaefer will be the special guest reader for Will Read and Sing for Food on Thursday, Jan. 28, 7 p.m., at Klubhaus 61. The show will benefit Dubois County Young Life.

Will Read and Sing For Food performers will include Abbie Rumbach, Scott Saalman, Debbie Schuetter, Bryan and Jaime Bolin, Megan and Isaac Gatwood, Marc Steczyk and Kyle Lueken.

The show includes a cash bar. The public is invited.

After the show, Schaefer will sell and sign her memoir “Fractured, Not Broken,” which recently achieved the #1 spot on Amazon’s Top 100 eBooks for Teen and Young Adults.

Since Oct. 2011, Will Read and Sing For Food has raised $54,600 for local causes and charities.

Jan. 21 show to benefit literacy camp, with musical guest Troubadours of Divine Bliss

Will Read and Sing for Food will perform Thursday, Jan. 21, 7:00 p.m., at the Dubois County Museum to benefit Psi Iota Xi’s summer Language and Literacy Camp for children. The show, open to the public, is a mix of live music and humor essays. Special musical guest: The Troubadours of Divine Bliss. Special guest humor writer: Stan Levco (Courier and Press). The show will also feature Scott Saalman, Debbie Schuetter, Megan and Isaac Gatwood, Bethany Boeglin, and Kyle Lueken. The Zeta Mu chapter of Psi Iota Xi started in Dubois County in 1957. Will Read and Sing For Food has raised $54,600 for 23 charities since Oct. 2011.
